Here is a little mention of myself:

I was born in Denbigh, North Wales in 1959, and to spare you the mundane details of work, marriage, and life, I shall simply say that I have had various occupations including those of Painter & Decorator, Picture Framer and Computer Programmer; I have three children, Lisa and David and Richard and live now in Llangollen, North Wales.

Up until six years ago, my literary experience was limited entirely to reading, and this encompassed mainly Science Fiction of the Planetary Romance, Fantasy and Sword & Sorcery genre, by such authors as Edgar Rice Burroughs, Kenneth Bulmer, Lin Carter, Robert E. Howard, Michael Moorcock, Isaac Asimov, Otis Adelbert Kline, H.G.Wells, Jack Vance, Frank Herbert, and so on, the list is almost endless!

In late 1995, I decided to put a much thought of idea to the test, and that was, in plain terms, to write something of my own and to see if it came anywhere near to being as enjoyable to read as the numerous and excellent works of the above mentioned authors. I wrote for enjoyment only to start with, but finding that ideas came to me at an unending and rapid rate, and that I not only enjoyed, but also began to live for writing. I spent almost all of 1996 writing five novels. It didn't end there! At the time of writing this, I have completed some nineteen or so novels, not in my opinion masterpieces, but nonetheless, to my friends, somewhat enjoyable stories. My enthusiasm has led me to submit numerous copies of typescripts to publishers both in the UK and the USA, but so far without mainstream success other than encouragement to continue writing and invitation to make further submissions in the future. Pertaining to the obscure however, a few small runs of Limited Editions have been printed.

I would like very much for these stories to be enjoyed from a reader's as well as from a writer's point of view, and so, having tried and failed so far to obtain publication through ordinary means, I have decided to make these works available to the vast audience of an altogether different and new form of media: the World Wide Web. It is hoped by myself that if enough interest is generated from this approach, then I may be able to attract the attentions of publishers and produce these novels in book form also.

As for the future, it is perhaps to another type of story that I shall turn my hand, one more acceptable to the publishers and reading audience of today. On the other hand, if these stories listed below are liked, and perhaps purchased in great enough number, then I may be persuaded to continue in this vein. Somehow, it is the latter road that leads me to enthusiasm rather than the former, for at heart I prefer the old adventure-type yarn to the more perhaps contemporary product.

And so, to the numerous fans of good old adventure of the past, although I do not claim to be of the same worth as the great names mentioned above, I do love their work enough to hope in some way, if not to emulate, then at least to be inspired by what they achieved.
